In December, Facebook launched a series of call-to-action buttons for Facebook business pages. For years, companies have obtained followers with a simple “Like” button on their business page. Now with new buttons such as ‘Shop Now’, ‘Contact Us’, and ‘Watch Video’ businesses can keep followers engaged with their products and services.
One industry that is starting to benefit from these call-to-action buttons is the real estate industry, specifically the professional Facebook pages of agents.
Don McDonald, who is the Marketing Director and also a real estate agent at RE/MAX Gold, recently tested out the ‘Sign-Up’ button on his professional Facebook page and so far has seen success.
“Agents who use this button can link it to their professional website; driving traffic to the website and increasing business”, says Don.
