We are so proud of RE/MAX Gold Benicia agent Pippin Dew-Costa for receiving the Advanced Leadership Torch Award from the League of California Cities for her hard work and leadership.
Not only is Pippin an outstanding agent when it comes to serving her clients, but she is an incredible community member who four years ago began serving on the League of California Cities council. For those who are unfamiliar with the League of California Cities, it is an association of California city officials who work together to enhance their knowledge and skills, exchange information, and combine resources so that they may influence policy decisions that affect cities. They work hard to solve regional issues such as homelessness, infrastructure, and affordable housing.
Pippin began working with the League of California Cities after she saw that not many people were stepping up to fight for issues that were important on a local level. If no one else was going to step up and work in improving her community, Pippin decided she had to take action. Four years later, she now serves as the 1st VP of the North Bay region, which covers Solano, Sonoma, Yolo, Marin, and Napa counties.
“It is incredible how much impact we can have on the laws being created by being involved,” Pippin says.
Being of service to the community and being a realtor go hand-in-hand for Pippin. She wants to improve the quality of life for her communities – which, of course, includes her clients. “Working as a realtor, you see the hardships or the strengths of that community that will affect your clients. You want to help them in loving their new home and their new neighborhood.”
In addition to serving her communities and clients, Pippin is also a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network – and even wore her CMN pin when accepting her award.
Congratulations again to Pippin on receiving the Advanced Leadership Torch Award – and many thanks for doing all of the work that you do. People like Pippin make the world a better place!
